English Premier League club Chelsea have reportedly submitted a £30 million plus player offer to sign Wilfried Zaha from fellow London outfit Crystal Palace.

Zaha has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur over the past 12 months, but according to The Sun, the Blues have now entered the race to sign the Ivory Coast international – offering money and midfielder Danny Drinkwater in return.

The 25-year-old contributed directly to 14 goals in 29 appearances for the Eagles last season and formed an integral part of their early season turnaround. Palace lost their first seven games of the season, but Zaha’s return from a knee injury sparked their revival.

Chelsea are on the look-out for a winger with Willian and Eden Hazard heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge before the transfer window shuts close at the end of the month.

Palace kick-off their campaign away to newly promoted Fulham next weekend.
