Former Ghana international Sulley Ali Muntari has revealed that he hopes to end his football career in the Ghana Premier League.

The veteran midfielder recently parted ways with Spanish club Deportivo La Coruna after his contract expired in June 2018.

Muntari, who is now 33, has been training with Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak to keep fit.

“I love Kotoko. They tried signing me when l was a young player in Kumasi,” Muntari told GNA Sports

“I would love to retire with them, but l would not rule out Hearts, RTU, King Faisal or Liberty Professionals.

“Let’s wait for the big announcement and the new club. My agent and some clubs are talking about it so let’s see how it goes,” he continued.

“At the moment, there is nothing concrete, but there are talks ongoing and if everything goes according to plan,

“l might be in action in the upcoming 2018-19 season,” he concluded.

Muntari started his football career with Ghanaian side Liberty Professionals before joining European side Udinese in 2001.
