Real Madrid 6-0 Celta Vigo
Last six games in all competitions (most recent first): WLDDWW

Zinédine Zidane opted to rest captain Sergio Ramos while Cristiano Ronaldo remained sidelined by a sprained ankle, but his Madrid side responded with their joint biggest victory of the season in their final home game. Gareth Bale scored the first two – the Welshman now has four goals in his last four matches – with Isco making it 3-0 in the 32nd minute, his second club goal since 3 February.

Nineteen-year-old defender Acharaf Hakimi added a fourth, his second Madrid goal, before a Sergi Gómez own goal and Toni Kroos completed the win. It was the German’s fifth Liga goal of the season, his best haul since moving to Madrid in 2014.
