The Egyptian international has been in electrifying form for his English club Liverpool FC this season.

Salah has hit the back of the net 15 times in 22 matches in all competitions for the Reds.

His exploits have not gone unnoticed as Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring his progress at Liverpool.

Egypt head coach Hector Cuper has since confirmed that Real are interested in Salah, who joined Liverpool from Italian side AS Roma last June.

“I’ve received confirmed news revealing Real Madrid’s interest in Salah.

“But let’s not rush things,” Cuper told Egyptian broadcaster ON Sport TV.

“To me, he is in an amazing position right now.”

Salah is also an important player of Cuper’s side having played an instrumental role in helping Egypt qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals.

It remains to be seen whether Real will make a bid for Salah during next month’s January Transfer Window period.

The 25-year-old signed a five-year deal when he joined Liverpool.
