Manchester City’s 100th UEFA Champions League goal has come in their 56th game.

Josep Guardiola’s side racked up a century in the competition proper when Gabriel Jesus opened the scoring in the second leg of their round of 16 tie against Basel.

City have joined an elite club of only 26 teams to have reached the landmark, doing so at a rate of 1.79 goals per game. Among those with 100 goals or more, only Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern München and Paris have a better strike rate.
